Two skills required by aspiring musicians are blind and ear training. But really two perspectives on the same skill. Cannot control the one without the other, and competence you can build in a convertible directly to another.
It should be clarified before the protests Music Academy, I am talking about melodic ear training. One side of the object permission training, variety, and articulating the harmonic chords or commas when multiple observations are sounding simultaneously. Select permission melodic training on singing in mind, one melody notes that are played or sung.
Using the metaphor is useful for teaching, like sight singing being able to speak the language, while the corresponding ear training to be able to hear and understand language. Relevant skills and clear, but somewhat different; one negative, one of the most active. But you need to work on both of them to become fluent.
Sight singing requires line or space on staff music which refers to “not” Note tonic, and then enable the sound output is compatible with others based on their relationship. To do this, one must be able to listen to the relations in one mind, and this is the basic skills of ear training. Ear training is essentially determining pitch tonic of context melodic, and then be able to identify other observations based on the relationship between them. If you can hear a note in your account, you can restore.
Of course, the first challenge is to the ear training or singing voice recognition visually stimulating musical context. This is the easiest for beginners when I realize that end melodies almost all of the tonic,. Even if you try to select the melody first, you can imagine and then start song end again. Does it start in the same note that ended on? If so, and perhaps begin to make. Example of my country ‘ Tis of thee “(” God save the Queen “).
Once you are able to voice recognition, fairly straight forward learn sounds other notes in the same context tonal identify familiar songs that either start the note you are trying to figure out, or start to do them and transfer immediately to that note.
Note the “Sol” (note No. 5 in the table) example without doing them. You can use a song like “born free” to move to that note, or a song like “amazing grace” that starts in that note. Similar examples of most of the observations of the table. Learning to recognize Seoul above do, might consider tunes “Twinkle, Twinkle, little star” (do-Sol), or “London Bridge is falling down” (starting on Seoul).
Developing fluency to select notes to hear (train permission) will help you a lot when it comes time to yourself in an appropriate notes “singing sight”. Exercise one of these skills will automatically improve your ability in the other.
